Understanding “Fresh Wind”:

• Theme for the year is blessed to be a blessing.

• Focus for the year is strengthening small groups, building disciples and reaching out to young people. Building and strengthening the small groups within YM and calling back everyone to return home to YM. YM is Home.

• The word that God has given the leadership for this anniversary is “Fresh Wind”. There is a shift in spiritual atmosphere in YM.

• The wind of God is bringing a shift and we have to recognize and move along with it.

Introduction:

• Wells in the bible times represent the source of life. Just like the wells were to people of those times, God is our source of life and the living water is the Holy Spirit.

• Today we will like to re-dig the seven wells of YM.

• As we dig the wells again it will bring about the fresh wind that will bring you life and breakthrough in the years ahead.

Well 1: YM is Home

• The first time the Holy Spirit moved and brought new meaning to YM is during our Encounter Camp where God came in the midst of us to break the orphan spirit.

• No home is perfect but that is where God comes and brings home to the mess and brokenness of the family.

• YM is a home where we can have a relationship with God.

Well 2: YM Prayer Revival

• The prayer revival brought a huge ripple effect to the ministry. Miracles and testimonies came out from this movement.

• The fresh wind is here and it is time to revive this well.

• This is the source of our strength: a place of sustenance for the long haul.

Well 3: Supernatural Encounter

• Experiencing God at our encounter camps.

• Build our relationship with God and learn how to dream with Him.

Well 4: YM Evangelism

• It is not about filling up the empty seats but us bringing God to the lost.

• It is up to God to minister and touch them.

• We have touched so many young people’s lives through our Gospel Camps and families through Cultural Night. This is the well that needs to be dug out again.

Well 5: YM Outreach

• Evidence of the move of the Holy Spirit is when we got together as a CG and went out to reach out to the poor and underprivileged communities.

• It is about bringing God to the communities and showing the love of God in practical ways.

Well 6: YM Called for Asia

• There are youths around Asia who are looking to our ministry as the most happening place because of the number of events we run.

• We are not just called to be here. We are called to nations.

Well 7: YM Apostolic CG

• This is the future of young people movement in the nation.

• CGs can be formed all over the states of Malaysia and then still connect online to join us for service. This is the digital church.

• The future is not about buildings, it is about building small groups in multiple places.

Conclusion:

• Fresh wind is about the work of the Holy Spirit. He is the source of life.

• Revival is about sustaining the work of the Holy Spirit for the rest of our lives.

• Revive your prayer life. Without this, you will not be able to sustain.
