"So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." - Rev 3:14-22 (NIV)
A lukewarm church has no impact or influence.
We as a YM are called to be passionate in our worship and servitude towards God.
Passion begins with God
-
Do we have a personal relationship with God?
-
God's presence can thoroughly refresh us
-
We can only truly know God when we have a personal relationship with Him
-
When we get our foundation right, we can understand the essence
Passion comes from a change of heart
-
Our passion for God is meant to be put into display and action
-
We are called to be witnesses by what we do
-
We are called to live in such a way where our life facilitates and not frustrates the communication of the Gospel
-
As long as we are a believer in any environment, we are the spiritual leader there
-
Our real passion for God is based on our purpose in life
Passion must be practiced
-
The more we don't feel like it, the more we have to do it.
-
This is our sacrifice for God
-
Passion grows as we choose to practice and cultivate it
-
It may not be easy, but if we don't do it, it will never happen
-
Passion is not about our feelings
Passion is our decision
-
We are neither too young or too old to have a passion for God
-
This is a decision that we need to make collectively as a YM and for ourselves personally
