To live a Godly legacy is to following His footsteps. How can we as sons and daugthers of God follow His footsteps?

Our identity: His beloved children

• Every father has a special love for his own children.

• Legacy starts by knowing who we are, and who you are defines our purpose and destiny.

• Our identity with God gives us authority over a victorious life.

• Our identity is display in what we are; what we believe and how we behave.

• We don't need materials things to add to our identity.

His identity reflected in His children

• As God's children, we are to be reflectors of Christ.

• To know God, we must understand who He is as revealed in His Word.

• You come to know about God through His word and as you love His word you begin to experience. The more faith encounter experience you have the more you get to know Him personally.

• To know God and His ways, we must often spend time with the Word and seeking Him.

• Application: How much time do you spend in wanting to know this God?

Our legacy: His love, His light & His wisdom

• Live a life of love. This is also role-modeled for us by Jesus.

• God is love! (John 1:18)

• Look at Christ, as revealed in Scripture, and see what God the Father is like, and hence what we as children are to be like. Look at the very 'Son of God' and learn to live like a child of God.

• To follow God, we must walk in love.
