What is the joy that Christmas bring?

What is this great news that brings joy not only to the shepherds but to all people on the earth?

Joy is in The Good News Itself

1. The Messiah is born to take away all our sins, defeat our enemies and give us eternal life..

2. Christ came to give us a hope, future and purpose.

3. God loved the world that He sent His Only Son that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life

Joy is to All People

1. This good news is not just for certain people but for ALL PEOPLE.

2. When Jesus was on earth, He was with the people: sinners, sick and outcasts.

3. Good news was first announced to the shepherds who in those days were the outcasts of society but they were chosen to be the first to hear of this good news.

Joy of Knowing Christ the Lord

1. Christ love is for all of us.

2. God made us all His children.

3. The joy is that we are redeemed by Christ into His eternal purpose.

4. Such a great gift was given to us because of God’s great love.

5. Joy is not complete if we don’t acknowledge that Christ is all we need

Conclusion:

1. God came to earth to be with us.

2. The Son of God came to die for us and redeem us for Himself.

3. It brings great joy to be reconciled with Him
