INTIMACY

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death - Phillipans 3:10 (NIV)

Intimacy with the Almighty is a surrender of self and submission to His purpose in our lives. To be intimate with the Father, we have to know Him and make Him known, because by loving him, we are transformed like Him in the end.

Why are we called to greater intimacy with Christ? We are all children of God through our faith in Christ Jesus and our purpose is to live as child of God.

There are 5 different types of intimacy

​

  • The intimacy of faith

  • The intimacy of faith

  • The intimacy of prayer

  • The intimacy of obedience

  • The intimacy of suffering
