Introduction:

• Nehemiah 3 is about getting down to the work and doing it together.

• Revival can only work when prayer, preparation and action come together.

Put God First

• The Israelites dedicated the wall to God before the work started as a reminder to put God first in all they do.

• Be grateful and thankful for what God is doing for us here.

• Before going out to do God’s work, we must remember the purpose behind the work.

• We can miss the supernatural work of God infront of us if we carry an ungrateful heart with us.

• Building revival in YM begins with putting God first in recognizing what God is doing here.

Be Open to be Used by God

• The Israelites who participated in building the wall were not skilled in building. They were just available. God is always looking for availability

• There is no role in the kingdom of God that we are too insignificant to do.

• God is not looking for people who are destroyers, complainers or spectators. He is looking for people who are part of the solution.

There is Power in Community

• When the Israelites played their each of their individual role, the big picture of rebuilding the wall came to pass

• There is power when each of us play our role in a community. There is a corporate assignment for us.

• When we collectively come together, we can build revival in YM.

Conclusion:

• God is looking for someone to partner with to build and to take it to the next level

• We are so important in building revival in YM again.
