In wrapping up the Daniel series, Pr Anand challenged us to build an honorable faith through the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den. What can we do to live a life that honors God?

Honor through worship

• The deeper you know God, the greater your worship is.

• Worship is exhibited the way we conduct our lifestyle. Our very purpose to live is to worship God

• Worship is the expression of loving God most be tangible and flows out of the abundant of our character.

• The strong feeling of respect and admiration is shown in how we conduct our lives.

• Daniel shows the model of loving God with all your heart, soul and might.

Honor through prayer

• Always turn to prayer when oppression and persecution arise (vs 10-14)

• It is because prayer is what we do, and God reacts accordingly to His will.

• The Holy Spirit gets His hands on our prayers and turns our everyday lives into a showcase his His extraordinary presence.

• Building a prayer lifestyle cultivated the habits of entering God's presence.

Honor through Test and Trial

• An innocent and faithful Daniel faced hatred, suffering and God spared him.

• Daniel was willing to die rather than compromise His service to God.

• In the same way as how Daniel honored the king, we should honor those who are in authority.

• We may go through the persecution but God will be there to deliver us from the harm of the persecution not deliver us out of persecution.
