..."But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory. He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes"... - Daniel 5
1. Humble Yourself
God resist the proud. God opposes the proud. If you are proud, God is opposing you. Pride is a very subtle sin that all of us can fall prey to. Pride blocks us from receiving because we think in our hearts and minds that we know everything.
2. Position Yourself
We always be in position to be used by God when He calls. Are we as prepared in our hearts to respond like Daniel even after many many years in ministry? Is our heart in a position to serve and receive from God? We need to prepare ourselves to be in position to act on the call of God today to bring change that the world needs.
3. Evaluate Yourself
God sees everything that we do in life. Everything that we do in our live from the day we are born until now, God sees and know. He remembers everything. If we were to be placed on the scales of God, will we be found wanting?
Conclusion
Great exploits are done when we know God and humble ourselves, position ourselves in God and evaluate ourselves in view of God. God is looking for people that would be willing to lay down their pride and to be ready to be used by Him.
